Walk Through History: Bible Edition

Ezekiel 37-39

Welcome back to Day 252 of our Bible reading journey! Today we step into a new section of Ezekiel as we read chapters 40 through 42. After many chapters filled with warnings, judgments, and the consequences of rebellion, God now gives Ezekiel a remarkable vision of hope, restoration, and His future dwelling place among His people.
In these chapters, Ezekiel is taken to a magnificent temple and shown its details with incredible precision. Every gate, wall, courtyard, and chamber is measured, reminding us that God is intentional, orderly, and faithful to every promise He makes. What may seem like a list of measurements is actually a powerful picture of God's holiness and His desire to be present with His people once again.
As you listen today, pay attention to the care and detail in this vision. God is preparing Ezekiel and His people to look beyond their current circumstances and toward a future filled with His presence and glory.

Welcome back to Day 253 of our Bible reading journey! Today we are reading Ezekiel chapters 43 through 45. After being shown the details of the future temple, Ezekiel now witnesses the most important part of the vision: the return of the glory of God.
In chapter 43, the glory of the Lord fills the temple, just as God's presence once filled the tabernacle and Solomon's temple. It is a breathtaking moment of restoration. The same God whose glory departed because of Israel's sin now returns, signaling hope, renewal, and a restored relationship with His people.
As we move through chapters 44 and 45, we see instructions for worship, leadership, and the way God's people are to live in holiness before Him. These chapters remind us that God's presence is not something to take lightly. His holiness calls us to obedience, reverence, and faithful worship.
Today’s reading is a powerful reminder that God desires to dwell among His people. No matter how far we have wandered, God's plans are always moving toward redemption, restoration, and His presence with those who seek Him.

Let's get into God's Word and witness the return of His glory. 📖✨

Welcome back to Day 254 of our Bible reading journey! Today we reach the final chapters of Ezekiel as we read chapters 46 through 48. After weeks of warnings, judgment, and calls to repentance, Ezekiel concludes with a powerful vision of worship, restoration, and God's everlasting presence with His people.
In these final chapters, we see instructions for worship, the distribution of the land among the tribes of Israel, and the beautiful picture of a renewed future under God's rule. Most importantly, the book ends with a name that captures the heart of God's promise: "The Lord Is There." What a fitting conclusion to a book that began with God's glory departing from a rebellious people and ends with His presence dwelling among them once again.
As you listen today, reflect on God's faithfulness. Even when His people wandered, His plan for redemption remained. Even in judgment, He was preparing restoration. Ezekiel reminds us that God's ultimate desire is to be with His people and to make all things new.
