Moses reads God’s words to the people, sacrifices are offered, and Israel commits themselves to walk in obedience. Moses then ascends the mountain, stepping into the presence of God for forty days and forty nights as God prepares to give instructions for worship and the tabernacle.
It’s a beautiful and foundational passage—the joining of law, worship, promise, and relationship.
